Viva Chicago Latin Music Festival fandango.  Includes members of Son Del Viento, Tarima Son, Jarochicanos, Cantaro, and many more.  The son jarocho tradition continues to thrive Chicago.

Son Del Viento on “Chicago Tonight”

Son Del Viento was the featured band on “Chicago Tonight” promoting the Viva Chicago Latin music festival in Grant Park.  Son Del Viento plays at the festival at 3:30 on Sunday, Aug. 30th.

Ricardo Salazar of Arte Salazar presented the “Art of Jarana Making” at the Nescafe Classico event unveiling the mural by Robert Valadez at Casa Aztlan.  Ricardo walked visitors through the design, construction and finishing process of a traditional jarana.
